Life has found its ways for billions of years. Have faith, it will continue to do so with or without human beings. Most likely without human beings based on the accelerating current trajectories. More accurately, human population may be reduced to a very, very small population, restricted to limited areas of the planet still habitable for humans.
Meanwhile the planet and its extraordinary systems that produce and sustain life forms will continue to evolve in its mind-boggling, glorious, improbable way it has been doing long, long before human animals appeared. A truly puzzling species with a feature for destruction that has come to prevail in so many ways.
Alongside the grief of bearing witness to The Great Unravelling welcome the beauty available in each moment we chose to direct our attention to it. These are your precious moments. Bask in them.
